Tonbahār Citadel

Here’s a personal project I’ve been working on in my free time for quite a while.

With this piece, I wanted to focus on creating a believable sense of place, paying particular attention to scale, spatial relationships, architectural hierarchy, and how the city might have naturally developed around its landscape.

More than anything, I wanted it to feel like a place that could actually be explored and lived in, rather than simply a picturesque environment.

Free models from Sketchfab were used for the statues.
